Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teachers and Paraprofessionals to join our Extended School Year program. As a Teacher or Paraprofessional, you will work closely as a team to provide instruction for children aged 7-21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while gaining valuable experience in the field of special education. This summer we are hiring certified teachers, paraprofessionals, and speech teachers. Our program is focused on community based instruction and includes classroom instruction, community based outings, field trips, and more!

Responsibilities:

• implementing educational programs and activities
• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with autism
• Help create a safe learning environment
• Support students in developing social skills and positive behavior management
• Assist with classroom management and organization
• Work on identified ESY goals and objectives
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback
• Engage students in educational and recreational activities
• Maintain accurate records of student behavior and progress

Note:

All positions at our organization are paid. We are in need of classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and speech teachers.
