Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Daycare Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture and support the development of young children. In this role, you will assist lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote childhood development and early learning skills Assist with supervising children during activities, playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor excursions to ensure safety at all times Engage children in age-appropriate activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and cognitive growth Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies and parent communication Support classroom management by implementing behavior management techniques and promoting positive interactions among children Assist with basic caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and comforting children as needed Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Must have experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with parents Demonstrated patience, compassion, energy, and a proactive attitude toward caregiving and teaching responsibilities This role is an excellent stepping stone for passionate individuals eager to grow their career in early childhood education. Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
