Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS) - Lancaster & Surrounding Areas Start date: September 2026 | Full-time & part-time opportunities available Are you passionate about supporting little learners at the very start of their education journey? At Teaching Personnel, we're working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Lancaster and the surrounding areas, and we're looking for dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistants to join us from September. This is a brilliant opportunity if you love working in Early Years and want to make a real difference in a child's development — helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning from day one. What you'll be doing: Supporting children within Nursery and Reception settings Assisting the class teacher with engaging, play-based learning activities Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Supporting children's social, emotional, and early learning development Working 1:1 or in small groups where needed ⭐ What we're looking for: Experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school, nursery, or similar) A positive, patient, and proactive attitude A genuine passion for early childhood development Strong communication and teamwork skills A relevant childcare qualification is desirable but not essential Why work with Teaching Personnel?
