Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding career supporting students as a Personal Care Assistant for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. This contract opportunity offers a meaningful, hands-on role with school-aged children in a supportive environment, close to Lebanon, PA. The district has three full-time positions, with two roles currently available—help enrich the lives of students as you work alongside dedicated educational professionals. You'll be scheduled for 35 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm. Positions run from August 24, 2026, to June 10, 2027. Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional, personal care assistant, or similar role in school settings Ability to provide empathetic and respectful care for students Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators and families Understanding of autism spectrum disorders a plus, especially for those supporting K-3 students in autistic support classrooms Flexibility and a patient, energetic approach to daily challenges
Role Responsibilities:
