School Hours | $21.50 - $23.50 an hour | Monday - Friday Make an impact where it matters most. Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district hiring Paraprofessionals to support students with special needs in the classroom. Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent AND either a Passing Score on the ETS ParaPro Exam OR an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university; or at least two years of study (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours) at an accredited college. Minimum of 1 year experience in Special Education within the last 3 years Prior experience working with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, or behavior management Proficient in the use of standard computer applications Must have excellent written and oral communication skills What you'll be doing: Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork, communication, and daily routines Helping implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency Assisting students with special needs who may require help with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation Creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive Teaming up with teachers, therapists, and staff to make school a great place to be Willingness to assist with physical or behavioral needs as required
