Assistant Group Supervisor for Infant/Toddler Room and Floater

The Ligonier Valley YMCA Child Development is hiring for the following positions. Assistant Group Supervisor Ligonier Valley YMCA. Hours per week for Assistant Group Supervisor (Floaters/ work with any age group from Infant to School Age). Flexiable schedule great for college students.

Rate of Pay:

Based on experience and education

Requirements:

HS Diploma or GED, with at least two years of experience working with children. Be able to obtain

Child Abuse Clearance, State Police Criminal Background Check, FBI Background Clearance and National Sex Offender Registry Verification Preferred:

An Associate Degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children

RESPONSABILITES

Interacts with and responds to children, families and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner. Maintains a safe and healthy classroom environment. Assists in offering a variety of learning experiences, as well as required components in lesson plans from week to week. Follow DHS, and Keystone Stars Regulations Interacts with children during free play, gross motor, and other activities as children's needs warrant.
