Job Description

Green Trees is seeking a qualified, passionate, and patient candidate to fill our Assistant Infant Teacher position! Our infant room serves children from 6 weeks old through 1 year old. The Assistant Teacher will work directly with our amazing Infant Lead Teacher to provide high-quality care to our smallest learners. An ability to provide a combination of caregiving for infants, support individual needs, change diapers, assist with feedings, build social-emotional bonds, maintain a safe and clean environment, and assess for developmental milestones is needed. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm, with a one hour break
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older. Have worked or volunteered with infants and toddlers for a minimum of two years. References will be checked. Pass all necessary background checks and clearances, including a health physical. Hold a H.S diploma, GED, and ideally have either a CDA, Associates or Bachelors degree in education or a related field. Must be reliable and dependable. Good attendance is imperative to forming bonds with young children who thrive on consistency.
