Not Benefit Eligible Requirements:
The Title I Instructional Support Assistant will provide supplemental literacy instruction to students identified for Title I services. The staff member will work with small groups of students on a regular basis to support literacy development. The staff member will complete the following duties and responsibilities: Consult with classroom teachers and literacy specialists to assist with planning instruction Develop and deliver supplemental literacy instruction based on student needs Assist with assessing student literacy needs Monitor student progress throughout the year Maintain accurate records in accordance with Title I regulations Communicate student progress with classroom teacher Participate in Title I parent engagement activities at the building and district level Other building duties as assigned by the building principal In addition: Previous Teacher Assistant Experience in Elementary School setting preferred Ability to collect data, work with team of educators, and carry out academic support plans Qualified candidates must meet the Pennsylvania Department of Education Special Education Regulations Chapter 14 Regulations. REQUIRED PAPERWORK
In order to begin employment in any PA public school, all employees are required to complete mandatory paperwork.
