Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Paraprofessional to make a significant difference in a school setting near Norristown, PA for the 2025-2026 academic year. In this full-time role, you'll provide dedicated 1:1 support to an elementary-aged student with moderate behavioral challenges and developmental delays. The position runs from August 25, 2025, through June 12, 2026, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a school environment Demonstrated background as a paraprofessional Ability to manage and support young learners with moderate behaviors and developmental needs Compassionate, patient approach and strong communication skills Adaptability and dedication to the student's academic and personal growth
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver consistent, individualized support throughout each school day to one female elementary student Assist with both academic engagement and social-emotional development in classroom and school activities Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and school staff to implement learning plans and behavioral strategies Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment Monitor student progress and communicate updates with the educational team and family as appropriate This assignment provides a meaningful opportunity to help a student thrive throughout the school year.
