Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and assist students in their learning journey. This role is essential in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, particularly for young learners, including those with diverse needs. Duties Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Provide one-on-one support to students, especially those with special needs or learning challenges. Facilitate literacy and math education through engaging activities and resources. Supervise students during classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions among students. Support early childhood education initiatives, including preschool and toddler care programs. Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed. Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting conducive to learning. Skills Strong background in literacy education, early childhood education, or preschool settings. Proficiency in basic math concepts to assist students effectively. Experience working with children in daycare or childcare environments. Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and strategies for supporting children with diverse needs. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed academically and socially.
