Be an essential part of the education process as you collaborate with teachers and empower learners to reach their full potential.
What You'll Need:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide is highly desirable Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities Strong communication and collaboration skills High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or coursework in child development or related field preferred Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for assisting students Capability to assist with individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed Must meet all state and district requirements for paraprofessional staff
Key Responsibilities:
Support students in both small group and one-on-one settings Assist teachers in carrying out instructional activities and classroom management Help implement lesson plans and adapt learning materials for students' unique needs Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and staff to support educational goals Track student progress and communicate observations to the teaching team Supervise students in the classroom, hallways, and other assigned areas Provide support for students with physical, emotional, or behavioral challenges Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies at all times
