Teacher Assistant Little Hands Childcare Academy Philadelphia, PA Job Details Full-time 14 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Employee relationship building High school diploma or GED First Aid Certification Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Little Hands Childcare Academy is looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic Teacher's Assistant who has a genuine passion for working with young children. We are seeking someone who is reliable, professional, and committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities. Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being. Help with learning activities, arts and crafts, circle time, and outdoor play. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom. Assist with diapering, toileting, and other basic care needs. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous childcare experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate). Must be dependable and have a positive attitude. Ability to work well as part of a team. Must be able to pass required background checks and obtain all Pennsylvania childcare clearances. Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification is a requirement.
