Company Overview The Goddard School of Plymouth Meeting is a collaborative early childhood learning community dedicated to nurturing the whole child through purposeful play, strong relationships, and high-quality instruction. The School-Wide Support Teacher plays a key role in strengthening that mission by supporting both students and teachers across the building. Position Summary The School-Wide Support Teacher serves as a flexible, classroom-to-classroom instructional and behavioral support leader. This role is designed for an educator who enjoys working across multiple age groups and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will partner with lead teachers, assistant teachers, and school leadership to implement strategies that support diverse learners, strengthen classroom environments, and ensure every child is able to fully access learning experiences. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both direct work with children and coaching/supporting fellow educators in real time. Key Responsibilities Provide in-the-moment classroom support across multiple age groups (Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K) Partner with teachers to implement individualized strategies that support children with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs Support the development and execution of classroom behavior guidance plans using positive, consistent approaches Assist in observing, documenting, and tracking child development and progress Collaborate with teaching teams to adapt activities, routines, and materials to increase engagement and accessibility Model effective classroom management and inclusive teaching strategies for staff Support implementation of school-wide enrichment, literacy, math readiness, and social-emotional learning initiatives Communicate effectively with leadership and classroom teams regarding student needs and support strategies Assist in maintaining a safe, structured, and nurturing school environment Qualifications Experience in early childhood education, special education, child development, or related field preferred Strong understanding of child development and positive behavior support strategies Ability to work flexibly across multiple classrooms and age groups Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience supporting children with diverse learning needs is a plus Comfort mentoring or guiding other educators in classroom practices CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field preferred What We Offer A supportive, team-based school culture focused on professional respect and collaboration Opportunity to work across a variety of classrooms and age levels Ongoing training and professional development A meaningful role that directly supports both children and educators A stable, growth-oriented environment within a respected early childhood program Join Our Team At The Goddard School of Plymouth Meeting, the School-Wide Support Teacher is a key connector within our building—helping ensure that every classroom, teacher, and child has the support they need to succeed.
