Paraprofessional - Student Support (Special Education)

Job Summary:

Grade Point Resources is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Day to Day Substitute Paraprofessionals to provide one-on-one support to students with disabilities in the classroom setting. This position plays a vital role in helping students access their education and develop independence by supporting instructional, behavioral, and daily living needs under the guidance of certified teachers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide individualized support to students with disabilities within the classroom environment Implement educational activities and behavior strategies as directed by the classroom teacher Supervise and assist students in completing academic tasks aligned with their Individualized Education Program (IEP) Accurately observe and record student data to support progress monitoring and instructional decisions Assist students with activities of daily living , as needed Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Strong ability to build rapport and work effectively with children Willingness to learn and implement instructional and behavioral management strategies Reliable, team-oriented, and motivated to help children succeed Must have or be willing to obtain: PA Criminal Background Check FBI Fingerprint Clearance Child Abuse Clearance TB test

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 6 months of experience working with children with special needs Ability to maintain a moderate to high level of physical activity Comfortable and willing to assist students with personal care tasks Join our team and make a difference in the lives of students every day. to support inclusive education and help children achieve their potential.
