Administrative Assistant & Art Teacher

KidzArt Minnesota Are you organized, highly dependable, and passionate about working with children and supporting creative learning? KidzArt is seeking a motivated team member to serve in a dual role as an Administrative Assistant and Art Teacher . This position combines behind-the-scenes program support with opportunities to teach fun, engaging art classes for children.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities Pay:

$18.00/hour Administrative duties will include: Supporting and managing KidzArt instructors Organizing and distributing class and camp supplies Conducting classroom observations and providing feedback Assisting with teacher onboarding and training Communicating with instructors regarding schedules and program needs Helping ensure classes and camps run smoothly Assisting with general program administration and special projects The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable taking initiative and solving problems independently. Art Teacher Responsibilities School Year On-Call Position In addition to administrative duties, this role includes serving as an on-call KidzArt instructor during the school year. On-Call Compensation $20/day stipend for being available on-call during scheduled program days, even if no class assignment is needed. $24/hour when teaching a KidzArt class. Teaching Schedule Monday-Thursday during weeks when KidzArt classes are in session. Flexible teaching assignments based on instructor absences and program needs. Summer Opportunities Immediate teaching opportunities are available this summer at the $24/hour teaching rate . Qualifications Experience working with children preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable transportation Ability to lift and transport art supplies Comfortable leading groups of elementary-age children Positive, professional, and flexible attitude Teaching, childcare, education, camp, or recreation experience is a plus Artistic experience is helpful but not required—training and lesson plans are provided Why Join KidzArt?
