Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) - Family Law Must hold a current and active Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) license in the State of Colorado and be in good standing.

Full-Time Join a Team That Makes a Difference Divorce Matters® is looking for a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) to join our family-law-only firm. We are seeking someone who is compassionate, confident, organized, and committed to helping clients navigate some of the most difficult times in their lives. This is a great opportunity for an LLP who enjoys meaningful client interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a supportive team focused exclusively on family law. About the Role In this position, you will work directly with clients on a variety of family law matters, including divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, and post-decree issues. You will help guide clients, draft legal documents, manage cases, and appear in court on matters permitted within the LLP scope in Colorado. We are looking for someone who can combine strong legal knowledge with empathy, professionalism, and excellent client service. Responsibilities Meet with prospective and current clients regarding family law matters Conduct case assessments and provide guidance within the scope of the LLP role Draft pleadings, motions, financial disclosures, and other family law documents Assist with divorce, custody, child support, parenting time, and post-decree matters Maintain case files, deadlines, and follow-up communication Appear in court as permitted under Colorado LLP rules Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients throughout their case Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and intake staff to support positive client outcomes Qualifications Active Colorado LLP license in good standing Family law experience preferred Strong knowledge of Colorado family law and court procedures Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting A compassionate, professional, and team-oriented approach Why Join Divorce Matters®? The position is primarily in-office during on-boarding and training. Hybrid flexibility may be available after approximately 90 days, depending on performance, training progress, and firm needs. Compensation and Benefits Base salary ranges from $90,000-$110,000 depending on experience, case-management skill, and overall fit for the role. Bonus opportunity is also available. Divorce Matters provides fully paid employee health insurance, paid holidays, and flexible PTO. Light travel may occasionally be required.
