Then you have the heart of an Instructor!! We offer a fully established curriculum and a new faculty onboarding course that you will go through the first 2 weeks. Although previous teaching experience and experience with Canvas are preferred, it is not required.
Job Description Purpose of the
Job responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive instruction to Medical Assistant students using the approved curriculum.
Demonstrate subject matter expertise and stay current with course content and outcomes.
Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Provide individualized support and tutoring to meet diverse learning needs.
Utilize varied teaching methods to enhance learning and continuous improvement.
Foster an inclusive, culturally responsive, and supportive learning environment.
Use the Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver content and track student progress.
Maintain accurate student records (attendance, competencies, and progress).Participate in curriculum planning, development, and program improvement efforts.
Engage in professional development and apply best practices in teaching.
Collaborate with faculty and leadership, attend meetings, and assist with resolving student concerns.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and academic standards.
This position requires full-time, on-site work on site/campus up to 5 days per week. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.

QualificationsEducation, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Associate degree preferredCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant program RequiredMedical Assistant Certification RequiredMinimum of 3-5 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical AssistantDemonstrated competency in clinical procedures, medical terminology, and administrative healthcare functionsPrior teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferredAbility to effectively deliver instruction and evaluate student performanceStrong communication skills and ability to support diverse student populationsMeets institutional requirements for faculty qualifications based on education and/or experienceAdditional InformationWe Offer:
