Medical Assistant Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and guidance to students in our Hybrid Medical Assistant Program.
• Present hands on instruction in our campus laboratory.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure effective delivery of educational content
• Assist in the evaluation of student performance and provide feedback for improvement
• Support administrative tasks related to the educational program, such as documentation review and record keeping

Experience:

• Three years of Medical Assistant work experience
• Experience in phlebotomy, immunizations, venipuncture, injections, pharmacology, EKG, wound care, GYN procedures, vitals signs, medical coding, dosage calculations.
• Pediatric experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• Must have basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience
• Proficient in various medical office procedures
• Previous teaching experience is desired
