Infant Teacher Assistant Location:
Central Falls, RI, 02863 Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Teacher Assistant to join our early childhood education team in Central Falls, RI. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants, helping to promote their development and well-being. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities tailored for infants. Provide attentive care and supervision to infants, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Support feeding, diapering, and nap routines according to individual infant needs. Engage with infants through age-appropriate play and developmental activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Communicate effectively with lead teachers and parents regarding infant progress and needs. Observe and document infant behavior and developmental milestones as directed. Qualifications Experience or training as an Infant Teacher Assistant or in early childhood education preferred. Strong understanding of infant care and developmental stages. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
