Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in a school setting as a dedicated paraprofessional. This contract opportunity places you at the heart of student support. You'll provide essential assistance in classrooms, helping to foster a positive and inclusive environment where children can thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar student support role preferred Comfortable assisting teachers and students in special education or general education classrooms Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents Patient, compassionate, and adaptable to various learning needs High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant coursework or certifications are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with classroom teachers to deliver individualized and group instruction Support students with assignments, activities, and classroom management Assist with personal care and mobility needs for students, if necessary Foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere aligned with school values Monitor student progress and collaborate regularly with teaching staff Participate in meetings, trainings, and school activities as required
