Job Description:
Child Outreach Evaluation Support will assist the summer team of qualified professionals and the Developer of Early Childhood Partnerships to maintain compliance with both the pre-kindergarten evaluations and the child outreach screenings. The person filing this position will enter screening information for children that have been screened int the Kidsnet data base (Department of Health/RIDE statewide database). The person filing for this position will assist the Pre-Kindergarten Team of Qualified Professionals with the referral review process for child outreach referrals. This person will assist with finalizing IEP's and updating Skyward when necessary. Daily rate of pay, contingent upon funding
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of RI Regulations Governing Students with Disabilities Experience writing IEPs aligned with the Rhode Island Early Learning Development Standards in PowerSchool Working knowledge of Skyward and PowerSchool for documentation of evaluations, eligibility, and IEP placements Strong oral and written communication skills Knowledge and experience of implementation and analysis of District assessment tools
RIDE Requirements:
Current Rhode Island Teacher Certificate(s) in appropriate subject area

Rhode Island Early Learning and Development standards classroom training
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND CURRICULAR LINKAGES
Maintain Child Outreach screening data in Kidsnet. Contact families for screenings Complete screenings, if necessary Participate as a member of the TQP if necessary Develop pre-kindergarten IEPs aligned with the RIELDS, if necessary, in Powerschool Complete pre-kindergarten observations aligned with the RIELDS, if necessary Contact RIDE Pre-kindergarten and Head Start programs to provide support in collecting and scheduling child outreach screenings. Participation as a member of a TQP for eligibility and IEP meetings Weekly submission of timesheets, activity logs, and completed files Must commit to work all of the days indicated in the posting Input of all necessary documentation in Skyward and PowerSchool Effective time management Provide Special Education Manager with weekly report of work accomplished
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Experience with PowerSchool, Skyward, COS, training in the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards and Early Childhood procedures and processes to act as LEA Early Childhood Special Education Certification RIELDS Classroom level certificate State Training on Kidsnet data entry and a signed confidentiality agreement Thorough knowledge of the current child outreach process and the screening tools utilized.
