To Be Determined Job Description Monsignor Clarke Catholic School Position (2): Extended Day Program Assistant 1. PreK 3 & 4 and. 2. Grades K-2

Hours:

Part-time, 2:30 PM-5:30 PM, one or multiple days a week

Classification:

Part-Time Reports to: Administration The after care teaching assistant (ACTA) assists at the end of the school day with the overall supervision of a combined group of children alongside other school staff members. The ideal candidate for the position is warm, compassionate, and exhibits a love for children while ensuring the safety and well-being of all the children. Qualities, responsibilities, and general expectations include but are not limited to: Ensuring children's safety and healthy growth Being punctual, dependable, responsible, and attentive Demonstrating flexibility, willingness to adapt, and open-mindedness Being a self-driven team member Promoting engaging play and activities for the children during the after school program. Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive school culture. Supervising the safety of children and maintaining appropriate classroom and playground management. Ensuring safe departure and dismissal of children.
