$23- $25/hr Pay will vary by certification, school, and assignment.

48+ college credits State & federal background checks You must provide contact information for three references, at least one of which must be from a role involving work with children (non-family related)You'll Stand Out If You:
Have experience working in Special Education, including moderate to severe needs Are comfortable providing personal care support, including toileting assistance Have experience supporting students with behavioral needs, including eloping and de-escalation Have familiarity with assistive communication technology or augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) Are available Monday through Friday for the full program duration (June 1- July 24, 2026)
What You'll Do:
Provide direct support to students with special education needs in a structured summer learning program Assist with behavior management, transitions, and daily routines while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment Support students with personal care needs, including toileting assistance, as required Implement strategies for students who elope, ensuring safety indoors and outdoors Collaborate with program staff to support student communication needs and assist with assistive technology as directed Sitting, standing, and walking required; must be able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students Observe and communicate across varied environments, including indoor and outdoor settings Additional role requirements will be shared in the handbook and during the interview process About Scoot Education Scoot Education is a thoughtful staffing partner with a mission to help create exceptional experiences in education.
