Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing the development and well-being of infants, creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment where young children can thrive. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education and commitment to caregiving will help lay a strong foundation for each child's growth and curiosity. Responsibilities Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of infants Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and supervising nap times Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform individualized care plans Assist with classroom management by fostering positive behavior through gentle guidance and behavior management techniques Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding daily updates and developmental milestones Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary, to ensure the well-being of every child Requirements Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or nannying roles Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care Certification in first aid and CPR; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom experience with toddlers or infants, demonstrating patience, compassion, and excellent caregiving skills Ability to manage classroom routines effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with families confidently Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of young children and support their individual growth Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives!
