  • Full-time Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture the youngest learners during their critical developmental years.
In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and enriching classroom environment tailored to infants and toddlers. Your energy and commitment will inspire curiosity, foster growth, and lay the foundation for lifelong learning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans that promote literacy, math skills, and social-emotional development for infants and toddlers Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, nurturing atmosphere that encourages exploration and independence Engage directly with children through play, storytelling, singing, and other age-appropriate activities to stimulate development Help with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards Monitor children's progress and communicate observations to teachers to support individualized learning plans Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety regulations and promotes effective learning experiences Collaborate with team members to develop behavior management strategies that support children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities Requirements Prior experience working with children in classroom or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood development principles, including Montessori or private school methodologies is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Ability to assist with literacy education and basic math activities suitable for infants and toddlers Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is advantageous Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to implement behavior management techniques Passion for mentoring young children and supporting their social-emotional growth Relevant certifications such as CPR/First Aid are desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain required credentials upon hire Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and inspired!
