Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management techniques, ensuring safety and engagement for all children. Support children's social-emotional development by applying early childhood education best practices and understanding childhood development milestones. Collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists to support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services. Conduct assessments to monitor progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones accurately. Engage children in activities that promote language skills, literacy, and physical activity while encouraging creativity and curiosity. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to child welfare standards and promotes optimal learning experiences. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings with classroom experience in early childhood education. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development for preschoolers including Montessori methods, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education. Experience working with children with special needs or those requiring early intervention support is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, team members, and external specialists. Ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental stages. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
