Job Description

Looking for a rewarding part-time position where you can make a difference every day? Palmetto Preschool is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our Carolina Forest team. This afternoon position is perfect for someone who loves working with children and wants a consistent schedule that leaves mornings free.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 12:00 PM - 5:30 PM No nights or weekends, however this IS NOT a seasonal position- must be able to work year round. As an Assistant Teacher, you'll help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You'll work alongside experienced educators and become part of a team that values relationships, teamwork, and continuous growth.
What You'll Do:
Support classroom teachers with daily activities and routines Interact positively with children throughout the day Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Assist with playground supervision, transitions, and end-of-day activities Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
