Position Summary:
ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Special Education Teacher Assistant to join our growing community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 40 hours per week contract in North Charleston, SC. This role will support a low-incidence special education classroom and will be assisting students with activities of daily living, including toileting and/or diaper changes. The classroom team consists of 1 teacher and 2 additional assistants, providing a collaborative and supportive environment.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Associates Degree Preferred. Minimum of 60 hours of college credit or qualified passing score on the ParaPRO Assessment Test Two (2) years of experience working with students with children, preferably in an early learning environment (Preferred) First Aid/CPR Training (Preferred) Fluency in American Sign Language (Preferred) What is our culture?
