  • What you can expect from the Teaching Assistant role but not limited to: Provide compassionate care and support to children and young adults with disabilities in classroom, residential, and community settings Assist with daily living and personal hygiene needs, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, meal assistance, positioning, and transfers while promoting dignity and independence Support educational, recreational, vocational, and life-skill development activities tailored to each individual's goals and abilities Assist teachers and team members in creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment Encourage community involvement and social participation through outings, activities, and transportation support Follow individualized care and support plans while responding appropriately to safety concerns and emergencies Maintain accurate documentation, communicate important updates, and participate in required trainings and team meetings Be part of a mission-driven team that makes a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families every day If so, we have the opportunity for you!

We offer many options for hours, with opportunities for 30-40 hours/week for full-time. Not sure if we have what you need? Just ask! New to direct care work? We provide all training needed for the role! From First Aid to individualized care plans to assisting in reducing maladaptive behavior, we will provide you the tools you need to succeed! Requirements Education and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalency is required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid driver's license with clean driving record for some positions may be necessary. Some positions may require training/testing to drive accessible vehicles. Not all areas require a driver's license. All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer. Why Work for Us?
