The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 16- to 24-months-old; as well as be comfortable with diapering. This is a Direct Hire position with the school The shift for this position is 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday; year-round employment Salary $19.10 - $23.60/hourpending education, credentials, and professional experience Benefits 401(k) with employer match Medical/dental/vision insurance Employee discount Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement

Job Responsibilities:

Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities Maintain a clean and organized classroom Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18-years-old

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or

GED REQUIRED

Experience:

At least one year of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility
