Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for a meaningful part-time role? Incarnation Catholic Preschool is searching for a warm, patient, and joyful Teaching Assistant to support our Two-year-old class! This is a unique opportunity to help nurture the youngest members of our faith-based learning community in a caring and developmentally appropriate environment.
Schedule:
Tuesdays & Thursdays | 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM At Incarnation Catholic Preschool , we believe that early childhood is a sacred time of discovery, growth, and joy. Rooted in Catholic values and focused on love, learning, and faith, we strive to create a nurturing space where every child is known, loved, and encouraged to flourish. Assist the lead teacher with planning and implementing fun, age-appropriate activities Help provide a warm, safe, and loving environment for our one-year-olds Support children during play, snack, story time, diapering, and nap transitions Encourage social development through gentle guidance and positive reinforcement Communicate compassionately and effectively with parents, staff, and fellow teachers Uphold our Catholic values in a way that's inclusive, respectful, and child-centered Complete paperwork in a timely manner. Knowledge of and complies with Department of Human Services regulations. Completes professional development as required. Attends monthly staff meeting. We're Looking for
Someone Who:
Has a love for working with toddlers and a heart for early childhood education Is reliable, nurturing, and brings a sense of calm to a busy classroom Has experience in a preschool or daycare setting (preferred, not required) Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team Can lift, sit on the floor, and move around easily with active little ones Is comfortable working within a Catholic environment
Requirements:
Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for young children. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, parents, and children. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality. Ability to follow classroom routines and directions from the Lead Teacher. Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Incarnation Catholic Preschool. Willingness to complete all required training, professional development, and diocesan safe environment requirements. Ability to comply with Department of Human Services regulations and preschool policies. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a childcare, preschool, or daycare setting. Coursework or training in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices for young children.
