Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional growth. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages respectful behavior and active participation. Engage with children through play, lessons, and activities that foster childhood development and early intervention strategies. Help supervise toddlers and preschoolers during daily routines such as meal times, nap times, outdoor play, and learning activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and organization in accordance with childcare standards. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support child welfare and address individual needs or concerns. Participate in ongoing training related to special education techniques, Montessori methods, or other educational approaches to enhance teaching effectiveness. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for early childhood education is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development concepts including literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and special education practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating patience and flexibility. Basic understanding of standardized testing procedures or tutoring methods is a plus for supporting individual learning needs.
