To Be Determined Job Description Qualified applicant should be highly qualified (HQ) by a minimum of an Associate's degree or coursework equivalent in Early Childhood or comparable field of study. Additionally, for the PreK program, if Associate's degree is not in Early Childhood, the applicant should hold a child development associate credential (CDA), or early childhood technical certificate. Relevant work experience in early childhood education MAY be acceptable for this requirement. The successful candidate will work under the directive of the Pre-Kindergarten teacher to which he/she is assigned and will follow all EA guidelines set forth by Wilson County Schools. This is a 180-day position with insurance and retirement benefits. Pay rate will be determined by education, experience, and placement on Grade 3 of the Hourly Classified Staff salary schedule. The starting rate of pay will be no less than $14.65 per hour.
