Genesis Learning Centers is a private, non-profit agency that specializes in providing therapeutic schools and services for children and adolescents who are experiencing intense emotional, behavioral, developmental, and learning challenges. As a non-profit agency since 1984, we are proud to call Nashville and the communities of Middle Tennessee our home. We are currently seeking Educational Assistants at our Genesis Academy location in Nashville. Each of our students receives services designed to meet their specific needs on every level of care in a small, child-centered environment. Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are carefully developed and reviewed regularly with our students and their families as we want every student to have a positive, supportive, and adaptive learning experience. If you are passionate about working with children with special needs and want to make a difference in their lives, then we want to hear from you! As an Education Assistant, you will be assigned to one student and will work closely with them throughout the day to assist them with their academics and daily goals. You will also work closely with classroom teachers and other assistants. The starting pay for this position is $19.00 per hour.
