Building Principal Position Matrix Job Type Classified, Full-time Job Title Special Education Assistant Location Tennessee Ridge Elementary School Contract Duration 10 months 200 days Compensation Dependent on position and number of years of experience Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Pass a mandatory background check Preferred Relevant experience in the desired field of work Other Requirements If hired, the applicant must have attained an Associate's Degree or higher OR have earned 48 college credit hours OR earn a passing score on the Local Educational Assistant Assessment (a study guide will be provided, and the applicant is not charged for the test). Job Description The full job description can be viewed here. Tennessee Ridge Elementary School in Tennessee Ridge, TN, is a close-knit campus of roughly 220 students. TRES seeks a reliable, engaged educational assistant. As a General Education Assistant, you'll be a flexible, hands-on partner who adapts to whatever each school day requires. Whether guiding a small reading group, collecting behavior data, or helping a student complete a task, you work with certified teachers to ensure every learner stays engaged and supported.
