Summer Teacher/Aide

Job Overview We are hiring enthusiastic seasonal summer teachers and teacher aides to join our team from June through July! This is a fun, fast-paced environment where staff will plan engaging activities, lead creative lessons, and help create a safe and positive experience for children. Responsibilities include supervising students, assisting with daily routines, participating in field trips, and supporting a team-oriented classroom. Ideal candidates are energetic, dependable, and enjoy working with children in a hands-on setting. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and executing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood education themes Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies to maintain a safe and respectful environment Work directly with children to promote social-emotional development, communication skills, and independence through interactive activities and play Help facilitate activities that support childhood development milestones Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment by preparing materials, assisting with classroom setup, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum enhancements and adapt lessons for different age groups and learning styles Attending field trips with classes and maintaining a safe and fun environment Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school settings, or similar environments is preferred Knowledge of behavior management strategies, and classroom management best practices Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Background in early childhood education or related fields such as childhood development is advantageous Ability to work actively on your feet for extended periods while maintaining enthusiasm and patience A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth through engaging activities Join us this summer to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience!
