Full Job Description Primary Purpose:

Assist classroom teacher to provide for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in the general and/or special education setting. Assist in implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher. This position is to provide Summer School services at all Summer School Locations (Smith Elementary and Del Valle Middle School.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Certificate High School diploma or GED (Recognized by the Texas Education Agency or Regional Accrediting Agency) Valid Texas Educational Aide certificate NCLB Certification Required Crisis Prevention & Intervention certified (CPI), obtain within the first 90 days Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50) paid by employee.

• 1:30 pm Work day is 5/28 8:00-4:00 and 7/19 1:30-4:30

Note:

Compensation will only apply to workdays outside of your 2025-2026 s chool year contract Will pay for travel between campuses
