Twos Teacher Assistant (24-35 months)

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Teacher for children aged 24 to 35 months. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that fosters early childhood growth. Your leadership will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and develop essential skills through innovative curriculum development and hands-on activities. As a Lead Teacher, you will collaborate with families and team members to support each child's unique journey, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating space for early learning. Duties Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development Foster a positive classroom atmosphere by managing behavior effectively and promoting respectful interactions among children Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of toddlers, including those requiring special education or early intervention services Monitor and document each child's progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing where appropriate Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages exploration while adhering to childcare regulations and best practices Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's development, milestones, and any concerns or updates Lead classroom activities that support childhood development stages such as motor skills, language acquisition, and social skills Requirements Proven experience working with children aged 24-35 months in a daycare or preschool setting Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and early intervention techniques Demonstrated ability in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori methods preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and team members Classroom management expertise to create an organized, engaging learning environment Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for early learners Experience in special education or working with children requiring additional support is highly desirable Certification in early childhood education or related fields; Montessori certification is a plus Join us as a Lead Two's Teacher to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives!
