Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant educational community as a Montessori Primary Teacher Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will support the development of young learners in a dynamic classroom environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with experienced educators, foster early childhood growth, and make a meaningful impact on children's educational journeys. Your role will be essential in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive space that promotes curiosity, confidence, and foundational skills. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, and early childhood education. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized learning environment. Work closely with children to promote social-emotional development, including working with individuals with autism or disabilities to ensure inclusive participation. Aid in preparing instructional materials and setting up activities that stimulate learning and creativity. Provide individualized attention to students. Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers for ongoing assessment and curriculum development. Assist in supervising children during classroom activities, recess, lunch periods, and daycare routines to ensure safety and engagement. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience with classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and engagement. Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing age-appropriate activities for preschool or toddler care settings. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and students. Familiarity with Montessori or other alternative educational approaches is a plus. Ability to adapt quickly to diverse learning needs and demonstrate patience and empathy in working with young children. This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to support early learners' growth while gaining valuable classroom experience in a nurturing environment. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
