This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and committed to helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally. The successful candidate will work closely with lead teachers to implement lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and support students and teachers. Prior experience in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly valued. This position offers an enriching opportunity to contribute to children's growth and learning in a nurturing environment. Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and executing engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood development activities. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies. Provide individualized attention to students with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or behavioral challenges. Help facilitate classroom routines, transitions, and activities to ensure a smooth daily schedule. Support children's social-emotional development through interaction, guidance, and encouragement. Assist with record-keeping related to student progress, attendance, and behavioral observations. Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods in accordance with safety protocols. Collaborate with teachers on curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learning styles. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and safety. Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding student progress and needs. Skills Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education strategies, including working with children with autism or disabilities. Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, and staff. Ability to assist in lesson planning across subjects such as literacy education and math. Experience with curriculum development tailored for preschool or Montessori classrooms is a plus. Demonstrated classroom management skills to create a positive learning atmosphere. Compassionate approach to working with young children of diverse backgrounds and needs. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to fostering an inclusive educational environment.
