Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into an essential role supporting student growth in an educational environment near Irving, TX. Work closely with a Resource/Inclusion student who benefits from 1:1 paraprofessional guidance, collaborating with experienced educators who value your contributions. You'll engage daily with students, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere that enriches both learning and development.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting or similar role Understanding of Resource and Inclusion models is a plus Patient, compassionate, and able to build rapport with students requiring individualized support Strong communication and teamwork skills High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education or certifications are welcome
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated 1:1 assistance to a designated student, following educational and behavioral plans Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to implement strategies supporting student success Help facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation in classroom and school activities Maintain records of student progress and behavior as directed Adapt to changing needs and support a safe, respectful learning environment This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with a supportive principal and staff.
