Medical Assistant Instructor Job Type:
Full-time Schedule:
Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday ; schedule may include day and/or evening instructional assignments

In person Position Summary CyberTex Institute of Technology is seeking an experienced and dependable Medical Assistant Instructor to provide classroom instruction and hands-on laboratory training in the Medical Assistant program. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, organized, professional, and committed to supporting student success in both academic and clinical skill development. Key Responsibilities Provide instruction in areas such as EHR , Anatomy and Physiology , Medical Billing and Coding , Insurance Procedures , Pharmacology , Medical Terminology , Administrative Procedures , and Clinical Laboratory Procedures . Deliver both lecture and hands-on lab instruction . Monitor and document student attendance , grades , academic progress , and professionalism . Develop and implement lesson plans , classroom activities, and skills-based learning exercises aligned with course objectives. Provide student tutoring , guidance, and support as needed. Communicate student performance concerns and unresolved issues to administration for follow-up. Maintain a professional learning environment that supports retention , completion , and career readiness . Participate in faculty meetings, training activities, and other institutional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of practical allied healthcare experience within the last 5 years . Teaching experience is preferred, but not required. Experience in medical assisting , clinical procedures , and/or administrative medical office functions preferred. Ability to teach both classroom-based and hands-on laboratory instruction. Experience with phlebotomy , EKG , injections , vital signs , and related clinical competencies is preferred. Current
CMA , RMA
, or similar credential is preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification is preferred. Strong communication , organization , and professionalism required.
