Description/Notes:
Support the Director of Special Education in leading, coordinating, and continuously improving special education services and the district's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). Ensurepliance with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting high-quality Tier 1 instruction, effective intervention systems, and equitable oues for all students. Provide districtwide support in behavior management, including training and systems development for administrators, teachers, and students. Support Admission, Re, and Dismissal (ARD)mittees to ensurepliance, and that MTSS and other support services are appropriately assigned, implemented, and monitored with fidelity in accordance with district policies.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree required Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field Valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education. Valid Texas Principal or Mid-Management certification preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in special education Campus or district leadership experience preferred Experience implementing MTSS/RtI frameworks and data-driven instruction Experience with behavior management supports, training, and systems
Salary Range:
$71,646.00-$87,372.00
