In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive learning atmosphere, and support the developmental needs of children from infancy through preschool age. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay a strong foundation for children's academic, social, and emotional growth, ensuring they thrive in their early years. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and student engagement strategies. Support children's individual needs through early intervention techniques and specialized educational strategies for children with disabilities or special education requirements. Foster positive communication with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure collaborative support for each child's development. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instruction. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with childcare standards. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience with curriculum development tailored to diverse learning needs, including Montessori or other specialized approaches. Proficiency in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and a respectful learning environment. Ability to work effectively with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention programs to support children with unique needs. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members clearly and empathetically. Competence in lesson planning, tutoring, and teaching physical education activities that foster healthy development.
