Monday-Friday Job Summary We are seeking a flexible, dependable, and energetic Float Teacher / Classroom Support Staff member to assist throughout our facility as needed. This position is responsible for supporting teachers and staff by covering classrooms during lunch breaks, end-of-shift transitions, staff meetings, and teacher absences. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, adapts quickly to different classroom environments, and helps maintain a positive and structured atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide classroom coverage for teachers during lunch breaks and scheduled breaks Supervise classrooms at the end of staff shifts or during transition periods Fill in for absent or sick teachers as needed Assist with classroom activities, learning centers, and daily routines Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for children Support behavior management and classroom organization Follow lesson plans and classroom schedules provided by lead teachers Communicate professionally with staff and administration Assist with playground supervision, meal times, and student transitions when needed Qualifications Experience working with children preferred Ability to adapt quickly to different age groups and classroom settings Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable, punctual, and flexible Positive attitude and professional demeanor Ability to manage groups of children in a safe and caring manner Must pass a background check Preferred Qualifications Childcare, daycare, preschool, or school experience CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Benefits Supportive and team-oriented work environment Flexible and active workday Opportunities for growth and advancement Competitive pay based on experience
