Floater/Assistant Teacher 2138 Motley Drive, Mesquite, TX 75150 $14.50

- Part-time, Full-time Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and nurturing learning environment for students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns
- Implement classroom management strategies to promote a safe and productive learning environment Skills
- Early childhood education: Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Experience with children: Ability to engage and connect with children of different ages and backgrounds
- Daycare experience: Familiarity with the daily routines and needs of young children in a daycare setting
- Literacy education: Proficiency in teaching reading, writing, and language skills to young learners
- Effective communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Preschool knowledge: Understanding of the unique needs of preschool-aged children in terms of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Special education awareness: Awareness of strategies for supporting students with special needs or disabilities in an inclusive classroom setting
- Child welfare: Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students
- Toddler care: Ability to provide age-appropriate care for toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and engaging in play activities
- Classroom management: Skills in establishing routines, managing behavior, and creating a positive learning environment Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties or skills required for the position.
