Floater/Assistant Teacher 2138 Motley Drive, Mesquite, TX 75150 $14.50

  • Part-time, Full-time Duties
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
  • Create a positive and nurturing learning environment for students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns
  • Implement classroom management strategies to promote a safe and productive learning environment Skills
  • Early childhood education: Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Experience with children: Ability to engage and connect with children of different ages and backgrounds
  • Daycare experience: Familiarity with the daily routines and needs of young children in a daycare setting
  • Literacy education: Proficiency in teaching reading, writing, and language skills to young learners
  • Effective communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
  • Preschool knowledge: Understanding of the unique needs of preschool-aged children in terms of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  • Special education awareness: Awareness of strategies for supporting students with special needs or disabilities in an inclusive classroom setting
  • Child welfare: Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students
  • Toddler care: Ability to provide age-appropriate care for toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and engaging in play activities
  • Classroom management: Skills in establishing routines, managing behavior, and creating a positive learning environment Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties or skills required for the position.
