Description/Notes:
The Campus Special Education Behavior Support Teacher provides specialized behavioral and instructional support to students with disabilities who demonstrate significant behavioral challenges that impact academic performance and school functioning. This position supports the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans, collaborates with campus staff, participates in ARD/IEP processes, and ensures services are delivered in accordance with district, state, and federal special education requirements. Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the subject and grade level of assignment. Knowledge of all core subjects. General knowledge of curriculum and instruction. Knowledge of special education processes and ARD procedures. Strong behavior management and de-escalation skills. Preferred, minimum three years experience of special education, working with students with emotional disturbance, Autism, or significant behavioral needs.
Salary Range:
Based on Experience Medical, Dental, Life, with other options to choose. Access to staff fitness facility.
