In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschool children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning in young learners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's early educational experiences while working within a collaborative and supportive setting. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized environment for children Engage with children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities to promote cognitive and social development Provide individualized attention to children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities, ensuring inclusive classroom practices Help monitor children's progress and communicate observations to lead teachers for ongoing assessment and curriculum adjustments Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials, toys, and learning resources Foster strong communication with parents and guardians by sharing updates on children's activities and developmental milestones Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education practices, including working with children with autism or disabilities Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math activities, and Montessori or other early childhood teaching methods Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and engage with children and families Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners Relevant certifications or coursework in early childhood education or childcare are a plus Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
