Toddler Teacher Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children in their formative years. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional skills Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, structured environment conducive to learning and exploration Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and social interaction Help supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times Support individualized learning plans for children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or other developmental challenges Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials, cleaning up after activities, and maintaining a tidy learning space Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to promote transparency and collaboration in supporting each child's development Skills Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices in toddler care Experience with classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and engagement Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children, including Montessori or other progressive methods Familiarity with working with children who have special needs or disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Ability to assist in lesson planning across various domains such as literacy education, math skills, and social-emotional learning Experience working in daycare settings or private schools is preferred but not required Demonstrated ability to manage behavior through positive reinforcement strategies Passion for working with young children and supporting their early learning journey

Pay Rate:

$11.50 -$12.00

Hourly Pay:

$11.50 - $12.00 per hour
