R.A.I.S.E.
Director & Student Support Specialist provides leadership and oversight for the
R.A.I.S.E.
Program while actively supporting students, teachers, and families through individualized academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support services. This position is a hands-on role that combines program administration, instructional support, inclusion services, and family engagement to ensure exceptional learners are successful in both specialized and inclusive educational settings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Program Leadership
Oversee daily operations of the
R.A.I.S.E.
Program
Assist with student intake, screening, and placement recommendations
Help develop individualized student support plans and accommodations
Maintain documentation related to student progress and support services
Ensure program goals align with Reach Academy's mission and educational philosophy Student Support Services
Provide direct support for students with learning differences, ADHD, autism, behavioral needs, and other exceptional learning needs
Develop and monitor intervention strategies
Assist with behavior support plans and classroom accommodations
Monitor student progress and recommend adjustments as needed Instructional Support
Provide classroom support and inclusion services as needed
Work alongside teachers to adapt instruction and curriculum
Support small-group and individualized instruction
Model instructional strategies and classroom interventions Family Engagement
Serve as a liaison between families and school staff
Conduct parent conferences and support meetings
Provide resources and guidance for families Staff Support
Train and support teachers and classroom aides on accommodations and strategies
Collaborate with therapists, specialists, and outside providers when applicable
Promote an inclusive and supportive school culture Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Special Education, Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
Special Education certification preferred
Experience working with students with autism, ADHD, learning differences, and behavioral needs
Experience with behavior strategies and interventions; ABA experience is a plus
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
Passion for serving exceptional learners within a faith-based educational environment Preferred Characteristics
